LEAGUE CHECK IN
• All teams must check-in at least 30’ before the start of their first games in order to register and participate in the tournament.
• All players must be properly registered to the league and their team AND bring with them a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Captains must present an official roster ( available at www.miamiwomensoccer.com) to the ref EVERY GAME of the participating season.
• Players must wear an official issued team shirt of the correct color during all games.
• Teams may not print their own shirts for official games.
• Players failing to meet any of the above requirements will not play.
EQUIPMENT: MPSWL provides the game equipment and each player gets their own official team t-shirt.There are no ball-boys, subs are encouraged to chase balls to keep playing time to a maximum
TEAMMATES: You can register as an individual, with a group of friends, or as part of a team up to 13 players ( player 13 plays free)
PARTIES: there will be an end of season party that is planned by the league board and team captains. The winning team will get a $ 200 tab at the selected venue.
LEAGUE BOARD: EACH TEAM IS ENCOURAGED TO PROVIDE A MEMBER TO THE BOARD . THIS BOARD WILL DISCUSS ISSUES, ORGANIZE PARTIES AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS. This is your league, participate and make it better everyday!
CAPTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: being a captain is a privilege but it comes with some responsibility.
You must attend a pre season meeting (date & venue to be determined)
All players on your roster are entitled to play
Your final roster is set by the division and may have as many as 13 players
Have your team to go to the regular after games activities and attend other social events throughout the season.
You are responsible for the conduct of your team and players at all times while at the park.
Any harassment of other players, MPSWL representatives or referees must be dealt with immediately by the captain.
Make sure your team is aware of the schedule and regularly checks the website for updates. www.miamiwomensoccer.com
You need to email your team a day or two prior to game day reminding the players of the start time and field you are playing on.
You are responsible for making sure that you have players available and on the field on time for scheduled games
Help the newer players with strategy & tips.
Make sure you and your players know the rules.
Try and get your players involved with the league, join the board, send in photos and comments for the web page etc.
